The National PTA Reflections program invites students from Pre?K through 12th grade to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts. For more than 50 years, Reflections has encouraged young artists to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through original works inspired by an annual student?created theme.
This year’s theme — “What My Culture Means to Me” — invites students to reflect on the traditions, stories, values, and experiences that shape their identity. Through categories such as Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts, students can express how culture influences who they are and how they see the world.
Reflections provides meaningful opportunities for recognition at the local, state, and national levels, celebrating the imagination and voice of student artists across the country. Whether your child is exploring the arts for the first time or already developing their craft, this year’s theme offers a powerful space to share their story.
