On Wednesday, February 12th, the Steinbrenner PTSA will be hosting an informative and interactive program called “The World of a Teen”.  All teens and parents of teens are invited to attend.  

A panel of experts will be discussing the challenges facing today’s teens.  Topics will include dating, drugs, alcohol, stress, social media, peer pressure and more. Panelists will include; licensed psychologists, a Special Agent with the FBI to discuss Cyber Threats, a Group Supervisor with Homeland Security to discuss Human Trafficking, a Program Specialist from Mothers Against Drunk Driving to discuss risks of underage drinking and links to impaired driving, a Prevention Team Manager from the Spring of Tampa Bay to discuss teen dating violence and healthy relationships and our own Deputy Bennett and the founder of the NOPE Task Force of Hillsborough (Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education) to discuss vaping issues on school campus and the dangers to our teens. 

“World of a Teen” will be held in the Steinbrenner Auditorium (5575 W Lutz Lake Fern Rd, Lutz, FL 33558) and will begin at 6pm.
